World Cup Qualification: Super Eagles to Receive N5.6bn from FIFA

March, 25 2022.

As the Super Eagles are set to play the Black Stars of Ghana, in their bid to qualify for Qatar 2022 World Cup, they will be receiving 5.6bn Naira, from FIFA, if qualified.


The fund is meant to help qualifed teams prepare for the tournament. The amount has bit increase from the last 2018 world cup, held in Russia.


Super Eagles are looking forward to their 7th World Cup outing, with a two legged matches, to determine which team to represent Africa between the two.


The first leg will hold in Kumasi Ghana, on the 25th day of March, while the second leg is scheduled to hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja, on the 29th March, 2022.
