Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has scored the winning penalty that sent Monaco parking in the Semi finals tie against FC Nantes.
The regulation time ended 2-2 but FC Nantes won via penalty shoot out 4-2.
Recalled that 22 years ago was the last time FC Nantes won a major trophy.
Speaking to www.ckdmedia.ng, is the scorer of the winning goal via penalty, Moses Simon.
“It is going to be a plus for my career, to win a trophy with FC Nantes.
“I strongly believe this is our year, we hope to replicate that form in the finals of the cup game. We remain humble in victory, we want to end the season high and perhaps pick Europa League ticket.
“We are on course presently, we are 7th position on the log and we are in the finals of the cup game. I think we deserve the victory against Monaco. We gave it our all, right from the commencement of proceedings till the end of the match".
The pacy winger concluded by saying, “It has been an amazing season so far, having scored 3goals and 7 assists".
