The head coach of Nasarawa United, Bala Nkiyu was full of praises for his boys, having won the last two matches consecutively in their new adopted home ground at Zaria road stadium, Jos.
“It takes faith and hard work to overcome the type of difficulties we faced in the first round. With these two wins now we are up the ladder and we cannot go down to where we were again. We will always continue to look at how we will get to the top”.
On coach Bala fielding a sixteen years old, the gaffer said he is not new to this kind of act as he reminisced on his time as the national U13 coach when he had the likes of Chigozie Obasi, Ibrahim Yayaha, Kelechi Iheanacho among others.
“Fielding him is nothing special, the only thing is to encourage him as he has a lot of energy to run around”, he concluded.
