Lagos based football promoter and fifa licensed football intermediary Alhaji Gafar is very sure that Nigeria can export thousands of talents to lucrative leagues across the globe.
Gafar who is a respected football technocrat from Lagos, stated that the focus should be on unearthing raw talents from the grassroots.
"The talents are there and Lagos is one of hub for grassroots players, all we need to do is to pay more attention to them for early discovery".
Hagji Gafar who is also the founder of the popular 36Lion FC of Lagos, has produced lots of players playing professionally both home and abroad.
"At 36Lion our exports are the best because we gave them professional backing on and off the pitch".
The former board member of the Lagos state football association calls for more grassroots tournaments for upcoming lads.
"There should be a foundation where the lads can be nurtured into stardom, they need competitions and tournaments around the nation".
