Nigeria's U-17 team will square up against the Baby Elephants of Cote D'Ivoire in the semifinal of the on-going WAFU B U-17 tourney in Ghana.
The Golden Eaglets qualified top of group A with two wins in as many games while Cote D'Ivoire finished second in group B, losing their third game to Burkina Faso 4-2 to wrap up the group stages.
Nduka Ugbade's team will be up against their rivals on Tuesday next week in a game that would determine teams who would qualify for the U-17 African Cup of Nations next year as well as zoom into the final of the regional tourney in Ghana.
Niger Republic had defeated Benin Republic 2-1 in the final group game as both teams exited the championship for Burkina Faso and Cote D'Ivoire to qualify. The other semi final sees Burkina Faso face hosts, Ghana on Tuesday, as the West Africans go to war against themselves.
