Victor Osimhen Wins Stampa Estera’s Award As Best Foreign Athlete in Italy

SSC Napoli and Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has scooped yet another award, in a season that has seen his reputation rise metorically.

Osimhen was on Monday, named "the best foreign athlete of the year in Italy" following his excellent form this season for Serie A leaders Napoli, for whom he has scored 19 goals so far, this season.

The form of the 24 year old has alerted clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Atletico Madrid to show interest in acquiring his services; while his present club remain adamant that their priced asset won't leave the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, anytime soon.

Osimhen will be looking to put the disappointment of the Nigeria not qualifying for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, when the Super Eagles regroup for the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea Bissau.
