Ottasolo football club is fast becoming the breeding ground of some of Nigeria's finest football talents. A brain child of a philanthropist, a man with the third eye, Otunba Gabriel Davies AKA Ottasolo.

What started like child's play has today metamorphosed into a theater of dreams where young and talented footballers strive day and night to actualize their lofty dreams.

Today, two of these emerging talents are set to take Nigeria and world football by storm.

They are Akwa United Duo of Bello Babatunde and Bolu Sholumade. Both were discovered by Otunba Gabriel Davies who nurtured them into fantastic talents.

In the last twelve months, Bolu and Babatunde have moved to Sunshine Stars and now Akwa United where they have left many flabagasted by their outstanding football prowess.

Bolu is a central defender who loves overlapping. He is calm, calculated, intelligent and disciplined.

Babatunde is a creative midfielder whose creative foresight is second to none. He powers through the wall created by the opposition like a trailer on a mission and leaves his opponents sprawling and gasping for breath. He is a workaholic midfielder with an eye for goal.

Little wonder, the management of Akwa United splashed out the cash to snap both players up from Sunshine Stars and since their arrival in Uyo, they have helped to change the fortune of a club that was struggling to re-enact the form of previous seasons.

The chairman of Akwa United, Paul Bassey once described these pair as the rock behind their recent success story and will go to any length to have them in the team at all time.

Today, the twin sensation of Nigeria football have left tongues wagging and heads shaking as they dazzle Abuja fans leaving many salivating anytime they watch them play for the Flying Eagles.

Both players featured as Akwa United trashed Nasarawa United 6-1 in one of the midweek NPFL fixtures and have since arrived the flying Eagles camp looking trimmed and ready for more football.

Chairman of Ottasolo football Club Otunba Gabriel Davies is a happy man. He says his heart is full of joy anytime he sees his players excelling no matter where they are.

”I came into football because of the passion I have for the beautiful game. I am a fulfilled man today, watching Babatunde and Bolu in the Flying Eagles. From the first day I discovered these players, I told them that they will become superstars someday if they stay calm and remain discipline. They listened and today, they are on the threshold to success. I can only wish them luck" he concluded.

Flying Eagles coach Laddan Bosso dropped fifteen players from the team Thursday but has his eyes set on these twin diamonds as he looks forward to a successful outing at the Under 20 WAFU Championship in Niger Republic next month.
