Nigerian International, Taiwo Awoniyi has revived the hopes of Nottingham Forest's team and fans out of relegation, by bashing in two goals at first half of their home win against Southampton.
Awoniyi returned from injury and continued where he stopped with two quick successive goals against Southampton.
He scored the first two goals as at 18th and 21 minutes of play to set an agenda for the maximum three points against relagation threatening Southampton.
Awoniyi's brace at the first half put Nottingham Forest ahead and was the foundation for the team's victory, in a match that ended 4-3 in their favour.
Awoniyi now has six goals with an assist in his 14 Premier League starts for Nottingham Forest this season.
Nottingham Forest is now 16th on the log, with three points clear from the relegation zone, 2 points ahead Everton, 3 points ahead Leicester City.
