Sustainable Football Development Needs a Super Brand, That's MTN- AMAJU PINNICK

The president of the NFF, Mr AMAJU MELVIN PINNICK has reiterated the federation's believe in maintaining the culture of Sustainable Football Development.



He said this at the Official Signing Ceremony of MTN as the Official Communications Partner of the Super Eagles and the other National Teams; in his words, "we believe in carrying out our culture of sustainable football development, we need a brand that is super, a brand that can stand the test of time, that have gone through thin and thick of the Nigerian system, and that brand is MTN.



The event, which was monitored by ckdmedia.ng, also had in attendance,

the Hon Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare, who while Commending the partnership said "the fact that this partnership is a first bold step in the right direction, that we tend to take Nigerian football, the NFF nd MTN have given life to sport policy that I underway".


In his remarks, the CEO MTN Nigeria, mr Karl Toriola said "from the start of MTN's operations in 2001, till the time of celebrating 20 years in nigeria, MTN has always considered it a honor to invest and support a platform that unites Nigerians, and no other better platform in Nigeria than football. They want to see the progress of what matters to Nigerians, and football is one of it. We are demonstrating further commitment to the Nigerian society, as an entire, complete journey to embark upon.


Also, the Chairman MTN Nigeria, Mr Ernest Ndukwe said, the premium placed on this partnership is also a reflection of MTN's commitment to millions of Nigerians, who draws joy and inspiration from football.

The 500 million contract, marks the beginning of inspiring, productive nd value added partnership, as the NFF takes on the 3-year renewable contract with MTN, as one of the Africa's largest telecommunications service provider.
