Super Eagles Watch:Gift Orban Grabs All Major Headlines After Hauling 4 Second Half Goals in Belgium

March, 12 2023.

Relatively unknown Nigerian striker, Gift Orban has continued to take this season's Belgian top flight football league by storm, by scoring four times for Gent FC in Sunday's 6-2 thrashing of Zulte Waregem, in the Jupiler Pro League.

Orban fired blank in the first 45 minutes, but after the break, he took the bull by the horns, and struck the bull's eye in the 53rd, 68th, 75th and 83rd minute to help the side he joined this season, to move up to 3rd in the Belgian league table, which makes them favourable for the playoffs for the title, at the end of the regular season.

In all, it was his ninth goal in just seven starts for Gents FC in the league, but Gent FC who are now on 51 points, have a whopping 19 points adrift of the leaders, Genk FC.

Orban who was the highest goal scorer of the second tier Norwegian league last season, won goal of the month award for February and at Stæbek FC, a second division side in Norway, he scored 19 times in 24 matches, in just six months.

The two other goals scored by Gift Orban who is Super Eagles eligible, were in Europe's secondary elite clubs completion, the UEFA Europa League.
