The 61-year old Super Eagles gaffer that was appointed days back is expected in the country January 2nd to familiarize himself with the country and signed all necessary documents.
Peseiro will join the team in Cameroon as observer and get to know the team very welll before his first assignment as a coach of the team come March, 2022.
According to NFF president, Amaju Pinnick,
"He is a top coach with rich resume and sound knowledge of the game.
Peseiro has coached in FC Porto, sporting Lisbon, sporting Braga and he was Mourinho assistant in Real Madrid.
