After a hectic season in Spain's Segunda division, CD Leganés defender, Kenneth Omeruo along with his Super Eagles teammate, Wilfred Ndidi said their summer holiday in Seychelles helped a great deal, to give true meaning to the age-long saying that "all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy".
Omeruo and Leicester City midfielder Ndidi said their decision to head to the Seychelles, a tiny African Island was to cool off the pressure of the long European season, and that goal was optimally achieved.
Having been to so many countries, during which he saw lots of resorts and top recreational facilities, Omeruo in particular said he marvelled and was excited with his experiences at such a beach life, in a very serene African country.
The CD Leganés star was joined on the trip by a fitness trainer, Kemen whose duty was to ensure that he and Ndidi stayed fit, while enjoying their holiday. Omeruo said the trainer took them on different fitness routines, after each day's relaxation.
According to the Leganés central defender, "Yes, I actually spent my holiday in Seychelles with Wilfred Ndidi, and our trainer. It was a time to cool off and to unwind, after a long season. But I’m back in Nigeria, and getting set for the pre-season. Hopefully, a deal will be struck, that will see me leave Leganés for another club", the former Flying Eagles defender, who singed for Chelsea after starring in the 2012 FIFA Under-20 World Cup staged in Japan, told www.ckdmedia.ng.
The Seychelles whose capital is Victoria, is an island nation, located in the Somali Sea. The Area is 459 sq km, with a population of just 100,447, whose languages are; English, French and Seychellois.
