Rock solid defender of the Super Eagles, Kenneth Omeruo is on the brink of saying goodbye to his teammates and coaching staff of Spain's Segunda side, CD Leganés, after five seasons of plying his trade for the club.
Omeruo who is eager to open a new chapter in his career, is on the verge of making a second missionary journey back to Turkey's Liga side, Kasimpasa.
The centre-half once wore the jersey of the Turkish Club, and his decision to rejoin them is viewed as making a U-turn back to a familiar ground.
According to Omeruo who spoke with www.ckdmedia.ng, "I had different offers, but my agent and I came to a logical conclusion to play with the club that wants me most, which is my former club, Kasimpasa. It's good to know that I'm going back home, and so good to know that I will be playing again for the club I love".
"It's a league that I'm used to, the Turkish League is not strange to me, so I will give it my best and play with a lot of passion, and as a true professional. But I have got to be mentally ready for the deal ahead. It could be finalized any moment from now, and once agreed by all parties, I will bid farewell to Leganés", Omeruo concluded.
