Super administrator and former commissioner for sports in Ogun State Hon. Bukola Olopade has commended the Hon. Minister of youth and sports development Mr. Sunday Dare for setting up a committee to investigate Team Nigeria athletes disqualification at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics games in Japan.
The marketing guru noted that Honourable Sunday Dare has good intentions towards building a viable sports sector for the country and so he must be given all the needed support to succeed.
"I salute the bold step taken by Chief Sunday Dare, i think the committee will look critically at what happened in Tokyo and suggest the way forward".
Olopade showered more encomiums on Minister Dare for constituting a committee to unearth what led to the disqualification of ten team Nigeria athletes, saying it is best way to go.
"He is a technocrat and he will surely ask questions when things are not done the right way".
The Chief Executive Officer of Nilayo Sports Management Limited stated further that things are now being done differently since the emergence of Chief Dare as sports minister.
"I celebrate the sports minister for his giant strides and I make bold to say that he has delivered and he will do more".
Olopade stressed that, the minister is not paying lip service to the policies he has established so far.
