Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, on Sunday, paid a condolence visit to Alhaji Aliko Dangote in Kano over the demise of his brother, Sani Dangote who passed on last week.
Sani Dangote, who was the vice president of the Dangote Group, passed on in the United States of America after a protracted illness. He has since been buried.
The Sports Minister, alongside Mr Wale Tinubu the Chairman of Oando Oil, a major player in Nigeria's oil industry prayed God to comfort the business mogul and his family and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
According to the Minister, “It is pertinent to pay this visit knowing how devastating the loss of a brother can be, the gap that Alhaji Sani Dangote has left behind is almost impossible to fill so we have to pray that God comforts the family and then we share these difficult moments with them.
"We also cannot forget the contribution of Alhaji Aliko Dangote to the sports Industry. So as a representative of the sports community, I sympathize with him and show our deepest concerns to his family." Dare said.
