Nasarawa United golden boy, Silas Nwankwo has scooped the Prestigious NFF/Aiteo player of the season award in a colorful ceremony held at Eko Hotel in Lagos.
Silas was summoned to the podium to recieve the Player of the season award. The young striker emerged as joint highest goal scorer of the league alongside Charles Atshimene of Akwa United. They both have 19 goals at the end of 2020/2021 NPFL season.
This is a very good initiative by the duo of NFF and Aiteo as it's a reward for hard work. It will spur the winners to do more in future.
No doubt, it's a night where female footballers were also recognized and celebrated .
