Despite his impending move to Serbia, Peter Olayinka's performance for Czech champions, Slavia Prague is still in top gear.
The Super Eagles striker demonstrated his passion for the game, by leading his team to a crucial 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen, in the Czech first division. Olayinka found the back of the net with a header at the 50th minute of play, to level the scores at 1-1, before the turn around was completed.
Slavia Prague presently sits at the summit of the log, with 53 points, 2 points ahead of city rivals Sparta Prague, who are following closely in second spot, after 23 rounds of games.
The striker who now has 15 goals to his name in all competitions this season, had since agreed to a transfer in the summer to play in the Serbian top flight.
The 27 year old left winger, who can be deployed as a forward as well, will from July 1, 2023 join Red Star Belgrade, in the Serbian top division.
