Samuel Chukwueze followed the foot steps of his friend in the national team, Victor Osimhen, the Villarreal player is not left out of the party for awards, as far as Nigeria players plying their trades abroad are concerned. He won the best La Liga Africa player of the season.
The Nigerian sensational winger finished the season with 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
His performance this season, is his best so far, following the arrival of the new coach, Setien.
He has been noticed by top teams in Europe, with Tottenham Hotspur being the leading team in the quest for his signature, even willing to offer Giovani Lo Celso cash to land Chukwueze in their squad.
With a year remaining for his contract to expire, according to sources, England is his next move, while the club is ready to allow him go, without the option to renew.

They will have to decide on their future, but we do not hide that they can leave. The same with Samuel and with anyone”, when asked about the possibilities of the 24 year old Samuel and Nicola, in their bid to move to Spurs.
