Relegation Battlers Shiver as LMC Gives New Date For Abandoned Kano Pillars - Katsina United Clash

The League Management Company (LMC) has ordered Kano Pillars to replay their game against Katsina United, which was initially disrupted in the 79th minute at the Sani Abacha Stadium in April.

The game will now be continued on the 26th of May, 2022 in Abuja, as it would be restarted for the final 11 minutes to be concluded.

Before violence erupted, the game was still in a stalemate 0-0 and the fight for the milk will go down the wire.

The Sai Masu Gida boys share a bitter rivalry with their North-western neighbours, however both teams have had contrasting fortunes this season, with Pillars languishing in the relegation zone.

The game will be of keen interests to other teams in the relegation zone, as the final result would impact the standings of other teams in the murky waters.
