Sensational forward David Promise put in a fantastic display, scoring a brace to help his side Sirens to a 2-1 win over Birkakara.
The win tasted sweeter for David and Sirens as it came against their arch-rivals. Interestingly, both teams will also face-off in the opening game of the season.
The young striker was the difference in the game, scoring his team's first goal via a header to hand them the advantage.
David showed excellent positional sense to convert an opportunity, grabbing his second goal in the process. The opponent were able to pull one back but it ended as only a consolation.
