Quadri Edun the new rising star

Former Nigeria U17 star, Quadri Edun is the new rising star following his outstanding performance all through the season for his Lagos State based team, G12 Football Club.

His hard work during training and match attracted former Nigeria U17 coach Manu Garba and was given a call-up to the Nigeria U17 team that represented Nigeria in the 2019 U17 World Cup in Brazil.

Quadri, 19, may be handed an invitation to the Nigeria U20 team if he maintains his current form. His aerial duel ability and the vision to turn defence into attack is second to none.

The no-nonsense defender is a player to look out for because he's an embodiment of raw talent as far as the round leather game is concerned.

Quadri is a versatile player as he can also play as a defensive midfielder, sitting deep in front of the back four to give the necessary cover.

The G12 FC defender played alongside the Hammarby FC sensational midfielder Akinkunmi Amoo during the 2019 U17 World Cup in Brazil under the tutelage of Coach Manu Garba
