Following months of so many pre-season tournaments and friendly matches. The Nigeria National League resumed with interesting fixtures a week ago.
Ottasolo FC who were on BYE in the Matchday One will commence their NNL campaign with a derby game as they welcome fellow new entrants to the country’s football scene, Sporting Lagos City FC in one of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday 2 fixtures at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
It is back to league action as we preview our debut game against local rival, Sporting Lagos City FC.

Ottasolo FC become a force to reckon in the Nigeria football fraternity following their sterling performance that earned them a promotion ticket to the NNL after they were crowned champions in the NLO playoffs at the Ilorin centre.
They have featured in different Pre-season Tournaments including the one sponsored by the President of the team, Otunba Gabriel Davies.
The team crashed out of the pre-season with just three points amassed from three preliminary games which included a famous draw against Lobi Stars ( One of the traditional teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League)
On the back of their ouster at the Ottasolo Pre-season tourney at the preliminary stage, The 'Solo Boys' owner, Otunba Gabriel Davies hired the services of former Crown FC of Ogbomoso Coach, Oladunni Oyekale as Head Coach.
The advent of the assistant Flying Eagles coach has brought about influx of experienced and matured players to the team. The likes of former Bayelsa United dependable defender Eugene Charles, former Niger Tornadoes and Flying Eagles defender Oniyide Rilwan are now on the pay roll of Ottasolo International FC.
With just a week in charge, Coach Oladunni guided the team to a second placed finish at the Ekofootball NNL Pre-season, losing narrowly to Ikorodu City FC 2-1 in the final.
Meanwhile, Sporting Lagos FC announced their entry into Nigerian football scene when they featured in the just concluded Eko NNL Pre-season tournament, organized by Lagos State FA under the watchful eyes of Barrister Seyi Akinwumi who also doubles as the NFF First Vice President.
Sporting Lagos City who is tutored by the former IfeanyinUbah FC coach, Uche Okagbue guided his team to a third place in the pre-season tourney after they were beaten in the Semifinal by Ottasolo FC on penalty shootouts as both teams were tied 1 - 1 at the end of regulation time.
Like Ottasolo FC, Sporting Lagos City FC are also making their first appearance in the Nigeria's most important League (NNL) and they have a highly experienced coach in their rank in Uche Okagbue.
The team have also improved on the performance that saw them came third in the Ekofootball NNL Pre-season Tourney as they have recruited some experienced players to beef up the squad.
Having played their opening match last weekend, Sporting FC could only settled for 1-1 draw against visiting Go-round FC from Rivers State in their NNL debut game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
The draw against a traditional NNL side, Go Round FC will serve as a motivating factor to Sporting Lagos as they prepare to face Ottasolo FC in a fierce Lagos Derby clash scheduled for Monday evening.
This fixture will be the second time the two teams would be coming head to head in a competitve fixture and Lagos State football enthusiasts should be prepared for a fascinating and thrilling encounter.
The 'Solo Boys' will be looking to build on their victory over Sporting Lagos from their previous meeting to amass maximum points in thier first game as they commence their Nigeria National League campaign
Ottasolo FC President, Otunba Gabriel Davies has decide to throw the gate open. Therefore, the fans won't be charged to gain access to the stadium to see this mouthwatering NNL fixture between Ottasolo FC and Sporting Lagos FC.
