Newly promoted NNL side, Ottasolo FC have announced the appointment of former Crown FC coach Oladunni Oyekale as the new head coach ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria National League. www.ckdmedia.ng can report
Oyekale is expected to assume his new position as head coach of Ottasolo FC with immediate effect while coach Oluseyi Femi who promoted the team from Nationwide League One will become the chief coach and former Kwara United captain Segun Atere as assistant coach.
Oyekale who is one of the assistant coach of the Nigeria National U20 side is expected to bring his wealth of experience and guide the team to a successful campaign in the fast approaching NNL season.
Ottasolo FC have vacated their base in Owode-Idiroko, Ogun State and moved to Lagos State where they will play their home games to enable them have a proper preparation ahead of the new NNL season.
Meanwhile, the team is expected to participate in the maiden edition of the Lagos State FA NNL Preseason Tourney that will commence next week at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.
While announcing the appointment of Oladunni Oyekale, Ottasolo FC chairman, Otunba Gabriel Davies said
"Yes, we are gradually finalizing our preparations ahead of the new NNL season with the appointment of coach Oyekale.
"Oyekale has seen it all as far as the round leather game is concerned, he was famous as a player and now an assistant coach to the Nigeria U20 team. I think we have made the right choice with his appointment as our head coach and we believe he will bring his wealth of experience to help the team. The chairman concluded.
