The 'Solo Boys' will be looking to redeem their image following another disappointing goalless draw at home versus Cynosure FC when they face Nnewi United in a NNL Matchday 5 ecounter bid to take centre stage at Oba Stadium in Onitsha.
On the back of three round of league games, coach Oadunni Oyekale team is yet to find the back of the net this season in the five week old Nigeria National league and will be looking forward to right their wrongs when they trade tackles with Nnewi United away from home in a midweek fixture.
The Lagos based team would be yearning to get their first goal of the season and hopefully pick up all three points at Nnewi.
NNEWI UNITED have also had mixed fortunes playing at home this season. Winning just one and playing out a goaless draw against Crown FC in their first game.
Despite losing narrowly in their last match at Omoku against Go-Round, the away goal recorded will serve as a motivating factor when they host Ottasolo on Wednesday.
Ottasolo will be without three of their Key players such as Eugene Charles, Oladimeji Oluwaseun (Goalkeeper) and Adelusi as they were not named in the squad that traveled to Onitsha to square up against Nnewi United as they continued to recuperate from various degrees of injury.
Coach Oyekale while speaking with OttasoloMedia said,
"My team needs to start converting their chances into goals, at the same time improve on their beautiful style of football.
"We have focused more in training on goal scoring and hopefully they will be able to get it right in Nnewi. He posited
The Anambra based side led by coach Ernest Obi have so far played four matches, lost one, won one and drawn two.
Their last game was against Go-Round FC at Omoku where they lost 2-1.
Ottasolo are two position above relegation zone on the table with two points picked from three games, while Nnewi United are 6th on the league table with 5 points amassed from 4 games.
