Ogunmodede Lauds Remo Stars Youth system; wants team stability in the NPFL

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has said he is Super elated to have guided Remo Stars back to the NPFL after two years of struggle in the NNL

The young and tactical coach made this known during an interview session with immediately after Remo Stars played a 2 - 2 draw with Insurance, a result that was enough for Remo Stars to pick the last available ticket in the NNL Super 8 Group B

According to coach Daniel who spoke exclusively with correspondent;

"Yes, I am super elated that I got the promotion back to the NPFL

Ogunmodede continued by saying the most interesting part of this success is the fact that the team's academy products dominated the first team squad.

"The most exciting part of this success is promoting the team to the NPFL with our youth system. Eighty percent of our academy products are inculcated into the first team and they did not disappoint, I am happy and this for me is the most exciting part of this success.

He dedicated the success to the President of Remo Stars, Kunle Shoname who has invested a lot of money in the club's youth development system.

"I think the secret behind the success of our Youth system is the huge investment by our President and I dedicate this success to him for his patient and trust in the system. He has invested a lot of money on this project and I am happy it paid off. We are so proud of what our youth system has achieved.

He explained on expectations and target of Remo Stars in the NPFL, Ogumodede said

"As for our teeming fans, for now, they should be expecting us to stabilize the team in the Nigeria Professional Football League, we are not in a rush, that's our plan. Then in the next few years qualify the team for Continental and win the league.

Remo Stars finished second on the NNL Super 8 Group B table with 5 points after a 2 - 2 draw versus Insurance in their last group game.
