French Ligue Un side OGC Nice has sent a private jet to Nigeria to pick up their hitman, Terem Moffi, following the conclusion of the African Cup of Nations held in Côte d’Ivoire.
The striker was a late invitee to the team but helped in the penalty shootout against South Africa. He coolly converted the first spot kick to set the tone for the night against the Bafana Bafana.
Moffi was also a second half substitute in Sunday’s final against host, Côte d’Ivoire.
As an important player to their team, Nice had written to the NFF to inform them that they would love to have Moffi back in France at most 48 hours after the AFCON.
