Odion Ighalo Scored and Assist in Al-Hilal's 2-0 Win in Season's Opener

Odion Jude Ighalo picked up from where he stopped in the Saudi Pro League last season, helping defending champions Al Hilal win 2-0 away at Al-Khaleej with his goal and assist.

Ighalo needed only three minutes after kickoff to open scoring in the game through a fine finish. In the 25th minute, Ighalo found Moussa Marega in space and provided an assist from which the Malian converted to double Hilal's lead.

The game ended that way, with Al Hilal controlling affairs but didn't add to their tally.

Ighalo fired Al Hilal to the title last season, scoring 23 goals to emerge top scorer in the process.
