NPFL's rave of the moment and highest goal scorer, Ishaq Kayode has stated that his maiden call up to the Super Eagles has left him in cloud nine, after receiving invitation for Nigeria's games against Mexico and Ecuador in the United States.
The mecurial forward stated "it's a dream come through and a rare opportunity to get this invitation and wear the green and white colours of Nigeria".
Ishaq Kayode is currently the highest goal scorer in the NPFL, notching 14 goals so far for table-toppers, Rivers United.
There is no doubt that the left-footed dazzler has been the star of the season in the league, as he continues to accelerate the Pride of Port Harcourt towards the league title.
