Former Akwa United player, Ocheme Edoh, who is presently playing in the Togolese league is full of lamentation and showers alot of encomium on NPFL where he played before he left the country.
According to him; “I want to come back and play in the NPFL. Togo is my second country after playing in NPFL. NPFL is far better than other leagues, including Togolese League. I'm tired of this place, the club doesn't have money, their salary here is too poor including the sign on fee and bonuses, very small. One month salary in Nigeria is their four months salary here. Other Nigerian players are here too. Age is also not on my side to spend time in a club that doesn’t improve my career”.
“I will really appreciate any help I can get to be back in NPFL. Coming back will be better. Clubs in Nigeria can use my strength and talent, wouldn’t mind playing for Kano Pillars. I hope it works out for me to play in the NPFL again, that will be better, seriously," Ocheme concluded.
