Benedict Atule has joined Plaudits in singing the praises of his younger brother, Joseph Atule, who has taken the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by storm, while dawning the colours of Group B leaders, Lobi Stars of Makurdi.

After seven rounds of matches in the Abridged Season, Lobi Stars are top of the log with 17 points, and have conceded just once, after their 1-2 opening day loss to Champions, Rivers United, in Port Harcourt.

Benedict, the older of the Atule brothers, said he is pleased with the exploits of Joseph, who has played in all the seven games, scoring three times, while contributing six assists in the league.

Benedict Atule, a right full back during his days, who played for NEPA of Abuja, Kano Pillars, Lobi Stars, Enyimba of Aba, also captained Lobi Stars and Kano Pillars, has also commended the Interim Management Committee (IMC) and Referees for the impressive numbers of away wins, drawn games and serenity at league venues, this season.

"Atule Joseph, you are one of our shinning lights, and we hope you will continue to make Lobi Stars and the entire Benue State proud", Atule senior posted on Social media.

He advised Joseph not to rest on his oars, and prayed that God will keep him in good form, healthy and injury free, for the rest of the season. www.ckdmedia.ng report.

Benedict was Assistant Coach at Lobi Stars, during the era of Mike Idoko, former Vice-Chairman of the Pride of Benue.
