The National Under 18 and 20 Men's handball teams, left the shores of Nigeria this morning for Congo Brazzaville, to take part in the International Handball Federation (IHF) Continental Championship.
The tournaments hold simultaneously from
January 16th to the 20th, 2023; and the Nigerian teams have in the past weeks been undergoing intensive preparations and drills, in Lagos.
The IHF Trophy Continental Championship teams trained under the watchful eyes of Coaches Emeka Nnamani (U-20) and Fidelis Obi (Under-18).
The teams qualified for the continental championship after winning the Under-18 and Under-20 qualifiers of the Africa Zone 3 Sub-region, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
The Nigerian delegation is led on the trip by the Technical Representative on the Board of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Coach Bala Mohammed and Secretary General Mr. Lambu.
