The Golden Eaglets are the champions of the WAFU B U17 championship. Nduka Ugbade has joined his compatriots, Ladan Bosso, who won WAFU B U20 championship. Bosso won the U20 WAFU and Coach Nduka Ugbade is the latest winning Coach of the WAFU B championship, having defeated Burkina faso 2-1.
The two finalists, Nigeria and Burkina Faso have picked the two tickets to represent West African countries at the CAF U17 African Nations Cup in Algeria in March, 2023.
