The newly promoted team to the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL), Niger Tornadoes of Minna will play their first home match of the season in their newly adopted home ground, Ilorin on Saturday against Plateau United of Jos, while Kwara United will play theirs on Sunday against Dakadda FC of Uyo.

Interestingly, Kwara United's coach Abdullahi Biffo will use the opportunity of having Tornadoes in Ilorin to watch Plateau United on Saturday, since Kwara United's second game of the season will be in Jos against them.

You will recall that last season, coach Abduallahi Biffo’s boys defeated Plateau United in Jos in a week 1 fixture. Can they beat Plateau United again on their home ground consecutively? Time will tell.
