Niger Tornadoes are Champions of NNL 2020/2021

Minna based team, Niger Tornadoes are the new Champions of the Nigeria National League following their 3 - 2 victory over hard-fighting Shooting Stars in the final of the NNL Super 8 decided at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu. www.ckdmedia.ng can report

The 'Ikon Allah Boys' started off their NNL campaign on a high, displaying fascinating and attractive style of football artistry, they finished top on the Northern Conference Group A1 table to qualify as one of the Super 8 participants.

Coach Abubakar Bala Boys reciprocated the form that saw them topping Northern Conference Group A1 table at the Super 8 by winning three games and drawn one against DMD.

They face off against 3SC in the mouthwatering final of the Super 8 and showed their superiority, defeating the Oluyole Warriors who were the fans favourite 3 - 2 to emerge as the Champions of the 2020/2021 Nigeria National League.

Shooting Stars players scooped virtually all the individual awards as Gafar Olafimihan, Charles Tambe and Gafar Olafimihan won the Highest goal scorer, Best goalkeeper and

Best player award of the competition respectively.

Champions, Torndoes will now return to their base in Minna to commence preparations ahead of the forthcoming 2021/2022 NPFL season.
