Niger state commissioner of sports vows to return Niger Tornadoes FC to premier league

The commissioner of youth and sports development in Niger state, Honourable Emmanuel Umar said there is a synergy between his ministry and the management of Niger Tornadoes to perfect the best plams to return the club back to the elite division.


The soft spoken Umar said that by the end of the on going Super 8 tournament in Enugu, the club would return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as champions.


“we have concluded our preparations and ready for the Super 8, the management is working hard to ensure we finish top,’’


www.ckdmedia.ng reports that Tornadoes, which was in the NPFL went on relegation after the 2018/2019 season and the team is prepared to bounce back strongly.


Honourable Umar said it is now or never for the players who are nursing the ambition of playing in the NPFL and they are ready to take up the opportunity in Enugu.


“We have some good players to return us back to the NPFL because that is where we belong".


He said that the management had put certain incentives in place to ensure optimal performance by the technical crew and the players.
