NFF President and FIFA Executive board member, Amanju Melvin Pinnick, alongside his family, paid a visit to injured Wilfred Ndidi in England.

The visit emphasised the compassion of the NFF President for the injured player.

Amaju deemed it fit to pay him a visit to discern the level of his recovery, noting how important the defensive midfield player is to the Super Eagles.

In his words,

"I spent quality time with Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho in Leceister over the weekend.

"I went with my wife and three of my kids, who are on half time break. Our visit was a mere family visit, not official.

Recall, that Wilfred Ndidi is recuperating from an injury, that has kept him out for about five weeks, being a very key player for the Super Eagles.

"We can not afford to toy with our last 2 games. Ndidi has been an integral, a committed and passionate member of the Super Eagles.

"The good news is that, his second scan came out very good, so he can start training with his club and possibly play in their next game.

"His wife, Donna was a wonderful host, their little daughter, adorable.

"Kelechi joined us almost immediately and made us to laugh till we left."
