The Surulere National Stadium is actually wearing a new look after so many years the stadium has been abandoned.
Under the leadership of Honourable Sunday Dare the Adopt-a-pitch initiative has finally paid off as the Minister’s concept has seen the stadium wearing a new look, more thanks to Baba Adedibu Kessington who adopted the pitch.
The pitch is close to completion. The Abuja National stadium which is also part of the adopt-a-pitch is back and fully rehabilitated and set for the World Cup Qualifiers against Ghana come 29th March,2022, as well the Daura Township stadium. By and large, the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development has clearly fulfilled the mandate of sports development.
