Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen scored a goal in either half as SSC Napoli began their Serie A title defence with a thrilling come back from behind 3-1 away win at Frosinone, on Saturday; www.ckdmedia.ng reports.
Napoli, the defending champions fell behind as early as the seventh minute to a penalty converted by Moroccan midfielder, Abdou Harroui who lasted 86 minutes, in the season opener.
Osimhen scored in the 42nd minute, to give the Gli Azzurris the lead for the first time, after Matteo Politano had drawn Napoli level in the 24th minute of play.
The 24-year-old striker, who has been a regular feature in the rumour mills of the summer transfer window, only for him to agree a much improved contract that will see him remain at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium for the foreseeable future, then scored again in the 79th minute to seal his brace, and a 3-1 road win for Napoli.
The Italian champions are defending the Sccudetto they won last season, with new Head Coach Javier Garcia, following the depature of Luciano Spaletti who is on the verge of being named Roberto Mancini's successor, as the Head Coach of Italy.
