Ottasolo FC pipped visiting Apex Krane by 1-0 in an entertaining NNL Matchday 8 encounter decided at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
Mohammed Isah who was handed his first start of the season by Coach Oladunni Oyekale broke the deadlock for the 'Solo Boys' on 56th minute to score the only goal of the game and opened his NNL goal account.
It was an entertaining game full of talking points with series of moments of brilliance from both teams.
The first clear chance of the game rested on Ottasolo striker Shina Ibrahim who dazzled past two defenders but his finish was wayward.
The visitors sat in their half to repel attacking forays of the 'Solo Boys' and depended on catching the hosts on the break but their plans were subdued by the defence of Ottasolo led by Rilwan Oniyide and Raheem Baruwa.
Despite creating many scoring chances, both teams could not find the back of the net as they headed back to the tunnel for halftime break.
On resumption, Ottasolo continued their dominance by enjoying more ball possession with crisp passes orchestrated by the trio of Abba Tijani, Ogunjimi Samuel and Adeniyi Sherif from the middle of the park.
Mohammed Isah would then poke home from close range to break the deadlock for the Lagos Outfit after the the visitors failed to clear their line on 56th minute.
Both teams introduced some fresh legs to add some energy to their teams but the changes had no effect on the score line as the game ended 1-0 in favour of Ottasolo FC.
Mohammed Isah who got the only goal of the game was voted as King of the match.
On the back of this crucial victory, Ottasolo FC have now moved to 6th on the league table with 9 points picked from 7 games.
Next for Ottasolo is a long trip to Umuahia to face Abia Cometh in an NNL Matchday 9 fixture.
