As the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria get set to kick of their WAFU B U-17 championship in Ghana, one lad called Precious Williams is one player to keep an eye on.
The HB Academy product has been named captain of the Nduka Ugbade led side because of his leadership qualities on and off the pitch.
As a striker, Precious is known for his composure, finishing abilities and calmness in front of goal.
During the team's camping, the HB Academy lad scored most of the goals the team recorded and showed how deadly and ruthless he could be when given proper service.
He likes to play either in space or with the ball at his feet. His acceleration is good for his height and his conversation rate is pretty impressive. Some of his traits can be compared to the same features Nigerians saw in Victor Osimhen, Isaac Success and Macaulay Chrisantus, when they played at this level.
HB Academy is becoming infamous for being a production line for exceptional talents, with Ahmed Abdullahi moving from the same academy into the Flying Eagles team, where he played a pivotal role in Nigeria's success at the WAFU B U20 Championship, hosted by Niger Republic.
Kudos should certainly be flying on the table of the Team's Administrator, Mr Veron, who has set up a factory that is now churning out good talents.
Nigeria's U17 boys team will take on host, Ghana Black Starlets and Togo's U17 in the group stage before getting through to the next round.
