Meet Nigeria's Flying Eagles' Daniel Daga; Man of the Match Vs Burkina Faso

Nigeria's U20 midfielder Daniel Daga was voted Man of the Match in the Flying Eagles game against the E'talions of Burkina Faso at the on-going WAFU B U20 Championship.


However, the profile of the whizkid is unknown to a large percentage of the football fraternity.


PROFILE OF DANIEL DAGA


Born on the 1st of October 2007, Daniel Daga is a native of Benue State, Nigeria.


Daga was discovered in Makurdi, Benue State during a scouting programme organized by Uyo-based side, FC One Rocket in the middle-belt state.


After his discovery, FC One Rocket fast tracked the players development by admitting him into their academy, called Carabana FC.


Few months into 2022, he was promoted into the first team of FC One Rocket, a team that plays in the Nigerian National League (NNL). Since making the step up, Daniel Daga has remain a jewel and a shining light for his team via his impressive performances on a consistent basis.

Daga has participated in almost every game FC One Rocket has played in, since his promotion.


His strength are his combativeness in midfield, relentless running and ability to complete long range passes with accuracy. He is an enegertic all-round midfielder, whose creativity is eye-catching in the middle of the park. Daniel is a player with a huge potential and has a high ceiling for development in the future.
