Man of the Match Bolu Sholumade Shines as Flying Eagles Dismantles FC Cosmos in First Friendly

Ladan Bosso's Flying Eagles got off to a flying start in their first friendly game defeating FC Cosmos 4-2, at the FIFA Goal Project, Abuja.

Ottasolo export, Bolu Sholomade impressed the coaches and spectators alike as his clamness, intelligence and ball-playing abilities won him plaudits. The Akwa United ace was left to play the entire duration of the game as he brought stability in the defence.

Coach of the team, Ladan Bosso speaking after the game expressed satisfaction with the defence, citing that he went for experience in that department, knowing the importance of having good leadership in the position.

"What I did was to use experienced players in the defence and from the performance today, I was impressed. We will keep getting better and ensure we're ready for our opponents".

The Flying Eagles raced into a 2-1 lead at half time before seeing of their opponents in the second period.

Bosso's boys got goals from Aminu Mohammed, Aliyu Abdullahi Ahmed Abdullahi and Adams Yakubu.

The Flying Eagles are due to engage in about 4 friendly games before leaving for Niger Republic for the WAFU-B U20 Tourney.
