Litmus Test For Salisu In His First Competitive Game, As Pillars Target Maximum Points

Kano Pillars Technical adviser and Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf will be sitting on the bench for the first time in a competitive match, when Kano Pillars’ host the Pride of Benue in the second league match in Kaduna this weekend.


'D BLACK' as he's fondly called by his friends, will do everything possible to give the Sai Maisugida faithful their first victory of the season against Lobi stars.


Recall that Lobi Stars drew their first game at home against visiting Rivers United.


Coach Eddy Dombraye Boys will be looking forward to earn their first away point of the season, having forced to 1 - 1 draw by the Pride of Rivers in their first match at home.


Immediately after the game, coach Salisu Yusuf will be heading to Abuja to join his cohort as Super Eagles camp opens.


'D Black' who has beefed up Kano Pillars team with the acquisition of established NPFL players with the likes of Nelson Ogbonaya, Timothy Danladi and Godspower Aniefiok will be looking forward to earn the first victory of the season, to make up for the team's heavy defeat to Akwa United in the NPFL Matchday one fixture.
