Kwara United has unveiled former Katsina United’s coach, Azeez Mohammed as their new gaffer going into the new season, following the departure of Abdullahi Biffo.
The experienced coach will look to reach new heights with the Harmony Boys after his time at Katsina United was brought to an end.
Coach Azeez who is widely travelled and experienced, worked with several clubs in Sudan before returning to Nigeria to handle Katsina United.
His first official test will be handling his new side in their CAF Confederations Cup home fixture against AD Douanes at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on the 9th of September, in Lagos.
Kwara United will firstly participate at a pre-season tourney in Ogun State, before their continental engagement.
Azeez expressed his delight and readiness to assume his new role, stating that he has been working closely as an observer with Kwara United and will be good to move from the get-go.
