Kwara United’s Striker Alao Danbani Signs For Viktoria Plzen

Alao Godwin Danbani has completed his move from Kwara United to Czech Republic side, Viktoria Plzen. He was with the Harmony Boys for a couple of seasons and helped them qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup. Plzen will play in the UEFA Champions League. The player has arrived Czech Republic and he’s to be unveiled by his new club.

Kwara United has lost three key strikers that played last season to foreign clubs, with Samad Kadiri in Lebanon, former highest goal scorer of the NPFL Junior Lokosa in Saudi Arabia while the latest player to exit Kwara United is the Kaduna born striker Alao Danbani, former ABS of Ilorin product.

Can the likes of Barnabas Daniel of Gombe United, Abdul Ahmed Taofeek of Katsina United and Wasiu Jimoh occupy the big shoes left by these trio? Few weeks away from the first CAF Confederation cup fixture. Time will tell.
