No fewer than three officials from clubs plying their trade in the Nigeria Professional Football League were sighted at the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL) in Enugu.
Barrister Isaac Danladi and Coach Bala Nkiyu of Nasarawa United as well as their compatriots from Kwara United, Bashir Badawiy and Abia Warriors' Imama Amakpakabo (Technical Adviser) were all spotted from the stand yesterday during the matchday two of the ongoing NNL at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.
The three clubs are still very busy in the transfer market as they continued to scout for exceptional players that will compliment last season’s achievement. The NNL Super 8 is a big platform to scout and recruit quality players to beef up their respective clubs.
Both Nasarawa United and Kwara United ended last season among the top five in the NPFL. While coach Imama's Abia Warriors ended the season in the mid table.
Remo Stars are topping NNL Super 8 Group B table with 4 points ahead of Shooting Stars who are on 3 points while both Insurance and Ekiti United are yet to pick a point point.
In Group A, Niger Tornadoes are on top of the table with 4 points picked from two games ahead of 2nd place Gombe United, DMD and Elkanemi who are 3rd and fourth place respectively all on one point.
