"My deepest appreciation goes to God Almighty for the privilege to serve, and also to my principal, Hon. Sunday Dare, for giving me the opportunity. My time in office will definitely not be a success without the support of sports stakeholders, especially journalists. You all stood by me and we were partners in progress, in the course of my service to the nation, through the office I occupied in the last four years.
"Words alone cannot succinctly encapsulate the depth of my gratitude for the support I enjoyed during these wonderful years. The task was Herculean but God saw me through. Of course, Nigerian sports journalists deserve the applause for all their good work. Once again, I say thank you.
"To those I offended in the line of duty, I want to remind you all, that I am am human and I am using this medium to tender an unreserved apology, because nothing was done in animosity or antagonism. Every action taken while in office was aimed at achieving the ultimate goal, which is, promoting the outstanding strides of Hon. Sunday Dare and the Sports ministry.
"I will also forgive all offenders as I’m not holding anyone or anything to heart.
"I thank my colleagues once again, especially those who served alongside me, for being dedicated in their service to my principal, and by extension the Nation. Every journey has an end . My journey as Executive Media Aide to the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports has finally come to an end.
"Only God knows what is next for Cute Kola Daniel AKA CKD. GOD leads I follow. Once more, thank you so much Nigeria Sports journalists you are one of the reason why I can stand tall and look back to say GOD is faithful. The last few years was eventful but they were my best four years ever".
