Super Eagles defender has proved the coach wrong for giving the nod to start the match. Omeruo did a yeoman’s job in the defence and crowned it up with a goal, as at 51 minutes of play.
He registered the first goal of the match against malaga in an away match, 0-2 it ended in favour of Leganes.
With this result, Leganes are 15th position on the log with 25 points.
Kenneth Omeruo hopes to continue this impressive outing in subsequent games before he join the Africa cup of Nations camping.
