A member of the Presidential Task Force, for the Nation’s Age Group teams, Alhaji Aminu Kurfi Balele has won his Federal House of Representatives seat, for Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal constituency, in Katsina State.
Balele, an ardent football enthusiast, and Administrator, contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and won Saturday's elections, by polling a total vote of 25,630, to beat his closest rival from the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) that polled 24, 320.
Balele is an Economist by profession, had in the build up to his election said, he delved into politics to help change the narratives in his constituency for the better.
The philanthropist, rationalist, farmer, enterprenuer, and above all Chairman of the Katsina State Football Association, has been receiving messages of Congratulations, from far and near.
You would recall that Balele as a member of the NFF Task Force on the nation's Youth teams, splashed a whopping 30,000 US Dollars on the National U23 men's team, the Olympics Eagles, to motivate them to qualify for football event of the 2024 Olympic Games in France. www.ckdmedia.ng report.
