Baring any last minute hitch, Nigerian striker Akor Jerome Adams will be joining French Ligue 1 club, Montpelier from Norwegian club Lillestrøm SK.
Akor netted fifteen (15) goals last season to emerge as the leading goal scorer of the Norwegian League, and about finalizing his 15 million Euros move to Montpellier from Lillestrøm.
The 23-year-old Akor, who has been in descent goal scoring form in Norway, is expected to follow in the footstep of former Super Eagles winger, John Chukwudi Utaka, who had an outstanding playing career with Montpellier, and is now a Coach in the youths set-up of the Ligue 1 side.
Akor is scheduled to put pen on paper, to complete his transfer on Monday before being unveiled to fans of the club before and registered for the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season, www.ckdmedia.ng reports
